Ok Im stuck i have 3 methods to choose from. Its either hang the buds on line, or put trimmed buds on drying rack, or just hang whole plant without cutting any thing. Which one should I do which works better? Also what should my temps be? I will have dehumdifier and air flow so humidity should not be a problem to keep below 50%.

Everyone has their own method. I trim all the branches off then hang them off a coat hanger for 3 days. I then put them in a paper bag layering the buds with shredded paper for 2 days. Then I cure in jars. I usually open the jars around 4-5 times a day till my humidity is around 58% in the jars. When hanging I try and keep my temps around 65 and my humidity around 50-60%. Hope this helps. I take my time drying and curing. I figure I spent 4 months growing them what's a couple more weeks drying and curing properly.

tried the hang the whole plant method once and i nearly threw the fucking thing away when it come to trimming , Nightmare , honest. People wank off over this method but unless your that sad and lonely this time of year and got so much spare time ( you and your plant ) trim hang and spend time with the family while they dry.

Hang the plant whole. To each his own. I dont see much difference when it comes to trimming dry or wet. I suppose if you have a lot of leaf it could be more of a pita trimming dry, but I never noticed. I noticed that the whole plants cured faster and smelled better initially than wet trimming. Same final product with a couple months jar cure though.

What ever works for you space wise I guess.:joint: Just my opinion.

Try them all and see what works for you. I prefer just trimming the fan leaves and drying whole for about a week, then cutting the buds off the stalk, quick trim, then into a paper bag for another week, then into jars. So far so good (for me). Good luck, and have fun!

i had a grower that put them in an oven, that was off, for a day or two. i trim when i ehack them down and hang them till dry according to the snaop oif a branch, not dion my WR, and cure in a jar. different strains =different drying times.

Congrats to MegaTron on his record tonight!!!!!

You forgot 1. You can let the plant dry out in the pot. Have to have low humidity for this one. I have done it and it worked great.
