I’m about to purchase a new light. I’m curious why people would choose these over the Philzon Cob series?

That's a question and a half.
The bottom line comes down to how well does a light grow weed which comes to how much light output per watt of power and its spectrum.
The HLG products and most like it (there are a lot similar these days) use white diodes that give us a great all round spectrum for growing and they are some of the highest efficiency available , you can look up the lumens per watt. They also use some of the best drivers available and other components.
That means I can use say 30w per square foot to grow solid dank buds, where with a cheaper LED you could be looking at more like 40-50w per square foot.
Also that type of light is passively cooled, so the heatsinking is not minimal, there are no fans to fail and burn your light out and it should last over a decade.
Its also a damn sight nicer to be in your grow room when everything looks a natural colour and not a blueish or purplish hue, make diagnosing plant issues easier, though that's just an added bonus.
Have to say from the Philzons ive seen on amazon your getting a lot of light for the money in comparison to most cheap lights of similar quality but I would go with something using top end diodes any day.

I know they are bright as hell. Congrats man. Looks great. I think you made a good choice. I did rig up a little bit different light hanging system though, so I can raise them even higher if I ever needed to. Here's a pic to kinda give you an idea of what I did.

Oh man that’s great!! That’s my one issue, is that later in flowering I’m for sure gonna have to have it raised all the way up

I bought an AGLEX (similar to Phlizon) then bought 4 similar to the hlg. Total actual watts is about 800. Tent is almost 5x5. The AGLEX is going back in my 3x3 when I figure out what I want to replace it with

It's about a 3x8 closet that my clothes used to go in, lol. I'm running 2 260 Rspec's, a 135 Rspec, and 2 100's in 3000k in there now. Next time I'm gonna take the 100's out and run the cmh lights that are actually right above them instead, with the other Rspec's around them. But I'm going to turn down the Rspec's a bit when I do. I took this a couple days ago, at day 27 flowering. So far I'm pretty impressed with the lights. The Green Crack on the right had some nute burn issues. I've learned that my sativa strains can't handle as much nutes as the indica's, or at least it seems like it to me.

Went with the hlg. Worked very well. Haven’t weighed yet or even trimmed fully but here’s my harvest I chopped 4 days ago!

Nice harvest but better not have them dry in the same space as you have plants growing, theres a mold risk and also ideal environment for vegging and drying doesn't line up very well.

Thanks man! And yeah I am using the same space. The clones in the bottom I moved out and I adjusted the environment so it’s at 50% humidity and dark. I need to dry in there purely for odor control. It’s worked really well.
Thanks for the advice I had no idea mold could be an issue, now that I think about it idk why I didn’t.. anyway I’m taking it out and jarring it today!

Stems bend/ almost break and it felt dry enough. Haven’t grown any but I’ve dried a few plants now. My humidity dropped at night cause it’s cold as shit rn but jarring at day 4-5 seems to work the best. I would have like to go for like a week plus but it wouldn’t have been way too dry at that point.
