Ok so I'm new but have done a lot of research and what I have found is you really want the mh for veg as its spectrum is optimum for veg I use mh on advice and research and it has made a huge difference I would suggest for veg you invest in a conversion bulb that way you can get the proper spectrum with out buying a new setup

Probably will go with mh, just leary never used it, always used hps for both but I hate the stretch in between bud sites, want long dense buds.I appreciate the help.

Lol thanks for the cutie comment. Well I say if you have the money invest it is well worth it and if you read up you'll see that mh has a blue spectrum which is best for veg the hps has a red spectrum which is needed for flower I can understand your reluctance to use it reading up may make you feel a bit more comfortable it sure did me I may be a noob but I got the lighting down :D
