Which is more stressing?

I forgot to close the door to my grow room for around 3 hours (there was no direct light coming in, but room was probably not completely pitch black).

When these things happens, is it better to just turn on the lights on schedule or is it safer to let them have 3 hours of extra darkness? Which is more stressing and more probable to cause hermies?

I'm 2 weeks into 12/12.

just proceed with normal light schedule and don't make a habit of it.

wouldn`t worry about it, if it was a very small amount of light, just keep a close eye on them and get any hermi`s out of they..
