Which Is Better?

I have 2 1000 watt HPS lights+all the equip to run either soil or hydro...

I want to start a vertical grow but which is a better setup to go with?

And I would like to know if it is better to use TWO rows of plants around the lights?

I see most people with 2 lights using setup B but it seems like setup A would yield more.

@madcow You are right! Then I would get light from both HPS lamps... That means the yield from the middle plant colas will be huge. Well I think they will at least...lol.

Thanks man. I am going to do that.

BTW, do u have any vertical grows yourself?

TY for the responses

@Trueno Yes I was planning on stadium, probably 2 rows, but I was just wondering why most people that have 2+ lights, in a vert setup, dont put plants between the lights... correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't you get a bigger yield that way? Even in the link you posted(amazing BTW) wouldn't that grower benefit from adding plants in between those lights... most people just use one circular/oval setup.

I completely agree with that, as you are effectively losing one side of the bulb, just like a horizontal set up. I actually said that same thing to myself when i first saw that set up........
And if you were to make the top shelf in between the lights get lit from both sides, i imagine the size of those buds.

you should make a figure eight, that doesnt cross in the middle and put the lights around where it wouldve intersected?
