Hi there! Both the G3000 and SE3000 are great options, but they have some differences to help you decide:
  • G3000: Uses Bridgelux diodes (USA brand). It’s more budget-friendly, perfect for starting with a lower investment. Known for its sturdy build and balanced PPFD levels. Ideal if you’re on a budget.
  • SE3000: Uses Samsung LM301H EVO diodes, which are more efficient. It offers higher light efficiency, better growth, and increased yield. Perfect for growers looking to maximize output.
Both are full-spectrum lights for all growth stages. If cost is key, go for the G3000. If power and yield matter more, choose the SE3000. :weed:

Odd though that both those lights have the same regular price of 270, but the sale prices are different. 204 for the G series, and 230 for the SE. Interesting to note that the Amazon regular list price for the SE is 310.

I think it's bc 1 has bridgelux diodes and the other has samsung yk cost of parts arent always the same so overall price would be more

I was only pointing out that the regular, non-sale price for both lights is the same at 270 on the SF website. But the SE regular price is 310 on Amazon. So if there's no sale going on, it's a no-brainer to buy the SE from the SF website since it is the same price as the G and 40 dollars cheaper than Amazon.

The cheaper diodes with higher count can be run at lower power to each which increases efficiency. This approach seems to be used more and more by the builders.
