which hydro system to use?

Thanks everyone for all the ideas. I've been looking at the DWC bucket system. From what I've seen you can either have each bucket with its own supply of water and nutes, or run a res which circulates the water....right? The res seems like it would be a more efficient setup. Nutes and ph in one bucket and wouldn't have to worry about doing each other separate. I would still need air stones for each bucket but only one pump? I've seen systems with return lines and am not sure how it would work. I would drill one hole for the air line near the top....then one hole at the bottom for the water to enter. Where/how would it return back to the res? Might be a crazy question but most of the vids I'm watching online don't really talk about it. Still searching, but my eyes need a break.. :) thanks again for all the info fellas!!

Nutes watered from top drain back to rez with 2 pumps; one for recir nutes, one for pumping nutes to plants + 2 air stones (added after first rez pic in prior post) to max DO in rez. Yes, it's over the top, but doesn't cost much to do
