Which Growing Method is best for a 2000 sqft setup?

You mentioned a stadium style, thats how I'll be setting up my new room with the E&G. using the bottom row as normal the the upper rows on drip and returning to the brain bucket vai rain gutters then recirculating to the res.

I started ebb & grow buckets at 2.5 gallons in size. Then when I added more lights I went to 3.5 gallon buckets. They were way too big. The 2.5 gallon ones were still a little big. I'll probably veg them in 1 gallon squares on an Ebb & Flow table, and then transplant them into 2 gallon buckets (hydroton both times) for the new setup. 16 plants under each 1000w lamp will be nice with mostly clone nug sticks not bushy plants.

That's what I'm leaning towards right now, the nice part is with 4 rooms, one is already set to go with the existing setup, so I get 2 weeks to build the next room then 2 weeks after for the next and 2 weeks after for the fourth room. Then everything will be on a 8 week flower cycle with a twice a month harvest of 6 lamps each harvest. I'm hoping for around 200 Lbs a year, but think I can probably end up with about 250-260Lbs after its dialed in all nice.

Grow big, right?

CVBUD -- If you had 5 1000w lamps on a single gigantic plant, it'd still result in the same size nugs as you get from them being under a 1000w lamp. The plants can only take so much light, and after enough of it you'd end up burning the plant with too much 'sun'....... The BEST nugs off of a setup like this being described would be 9 plants under a 1000w lamp and start each fem from seed and 4-top them. That'll give a monster yield every time, but you have a seed cost unless you are producing your own, which I'm not yet...... (yet lol).......

dude, that sounds awsome. i was just thinking that i would veg the bastard for about 6-8 months. literally growing a tree. that was the idea of the five lights. the tree would be so big, one light wouldnt even cover a 1/3 of it. anyway, it was just useless jabber. something i dreamed of while heavily medicating myself. it would be sweet though.

back to your plans. i think its a great idea. i use soil, but other than that, i do the exact same thing. except i am on a three week cycle. 3 weeks in the cloner, 3 weeks in the veg (8-12 inches) and then nine weeks in the flower. i have 3 1000w lights in the room with 16 plants under each light. i lolly pop the poop out of the, and i at the end of my cycle the plants are 3 feet, 2-3 ounces, and still very spacious for good airflow and co2 distribution. its awesome. anyway, great idea. roll with it. i want to see pics of this bad boy.

you must do some major trimming to fit 16 under 1 1000w. i have a hard time fitting 9 and i only veg for like 2 weeks toppin once.

ill try to remember to take some pics today. but i lolly pop them crazy like and i get pretty good seperation from them all. but ill get apic and you can see how it looks.

If from seed, 9 would be plenty. But, from clone where I cant top them, 16 lollipops works.

works good for me too!

the only issue i see with growing a ton of plants like that with no veg time is they are a bitch to maintain and keep propped up. Also you always seem to have a few that just don't grow worth a shit and lag behind the others. My experience anyway when having plants bunched.
