Did more effort and passion go into yesteryears strains because its hard for me to find a strain i want to stick with from modern stuff nut old stuff i find i wanna keep it all.

Idk maybe were getting old :-)

Ok I thought it was just me..
That’s it King I’ve gotta find that old school weed..I got all these damn seeds and but some off my best high so far have come from my white widow and an Apollo plant..
I’m so stuck in the 80-90’s..
I’m gonna look over my seeds and rethink things..

I have back problems and the best way is small amounts often. Both give me relief just sat strains arent so heavy.

Theres too much chucked crossed criss cross hybrid strains you need to.look around. Go back to the old strains and it gets a whole load easier to select a darn good sat or indica and all in between.

Actually find the high of a lot of modern stuff too convoluted, too mixed. The old strains take me to a better place allround and one real thing i love is the high rather than the strength, a lot of non super high stuff gets me faaar more baked than the super high stuff and better trip all round.

:-)
Much of the hybrids these days are just pollen chucks. There was no actual breeding done. That's why people talk about a dozen different pheno's from the same strain. That's just ridiculous. The only thing more ridiculous than the names these chuckers are giving the F1 seeds they're peddling is the price some people are willing to pay for them. I can chuck pollen as good as anyone and I have the seeds to prove it. I've grown many of my crosses out and they are as good as the hybrids I've grown that came from some so called breeder. I've been growing landraces for the most part or crosses I've made. I have some that I've gotten to F4 and are stable with at most two pheno's. I've been on a sativa kick and am ready to harvest an Oldtimers Haze that has been flowering for about 20 weeks.

100% sativa Oldtimers Haze almost 20 weeks. I tried some and it's potent without knocking you out. A racy head high that leaves you with energy to get things done. It has a somewhat psychedelic effect. You won't find it at any dispensary and with the long flowering time you won't find too many people in the States growing it. Seems everyone in America is looking for a fast flowering high THC content hybrid. I find those to be boring and hard to differentiate any differences between them. I currently have some clones I took from this plant that I'm going to use to make a hybrid using pollen from a landrace Mazar-I-Sharif male.

Whats amazing is just how much weve learnt about this plant over the years. The industry knows dick but we see that genetically this plant is set up to make dank every generation even if selfed many times.

It conquers breeding delression as a few do and can proliferate into a whole diverse race when one is isolated for many years.

I found every attempt i made at breeding crossing or selfing to be first class winners, actually love making my own seed and cross but fail to.pay for many modern ones :-)

That sativa looks mouthwatering, sometimes i like the odd plant to finish like that, smoke gets much thicker and stronger :-)

Brother, I couldn’t have said it better...they look wonderful..keep us posted and keep up the good work!!
Just really getting into growing I’m beginning to understand now the way this breeding thing goes..
Land races imho seem to be where it is at.. then go from there...
And you are so correct about these fast flowering plants and that seem to be a hit... I’m willing to wait the distance for what it’s worth... not all of this is growers error!!

I WISH ....
hell Im having to save for a long time so I can get an extended height tent to see what I can do with a Sativa indoors
Cut the top out of your existing tent - that's what I did, a little black plastic (Lowes) to run the walls up to the ceiling. It worked well.
