Which Ballast For Light?

i have a 1000w phillips agrolite xt. magnum xxxl reflector. i was planning on getting a nextgen digital ballast, but what are your thoughts about it? what would be optimal?

next gen makes some nice stuff from what i've read on them for sure.. if going with next gen, it sounds like you're planning on going with a digital ballast, which i love mine.. i have a galaxy and don't have a complaint on it at all..

dont get a nextgen. Not a big CAP fan, aside from their valuline fans.

QUantum makes REALLY nice digital ballasts.
They are dimmable 50-75-100%.
Run really cool, too.

They Hydrofarm phantom is also a good digital, but runs a bit warmer than the quantum.
hydrofarm dims 60-75-100%.

dont get a lumatek.

If you want a magnetic, hydrofarm makes nice magnetics. Xtrasun or something...
