Where you buy your bulkheads?

I'm in the US and looking to build a RDWC waterfall system. I have tried uniseals and failed with leaks and cracks. Maybe I'm not too handy with cutting the holes the exact way and wanted to explore bulkheads instead.

Where do you buy your bulkheads from? I search on Amazon but some of the reviews on their is mixed.

What I am thinking is 1 1/2 bulkheads slip so that I can slip PVC pipes through with primer and cement.

Those work man but once you glue them, that is where they live.
I have used the lifeguard aquatics bulkheads off amazon with great results.
I prefer the double threaded so I can take them apart.

So with the doubled threaded, are you using NPT/MIPT x SLIP PVC adapter so that you can use regular PVC pipes? If not, what are you using?

Yeah for the inside threaded parts just get NPT so you can screw PVC Male threaded adapters into them.

On my 2" slip fit bulkheads, I seal/glue the pipe into the fitting with some clear RTV sealant. It provides a mechanical seal but you can break the bond by twisting so it can be disassembled.

Interesting. I might try that sometime. It solves the problem of the non-reusable slip bulkhead.
