Where to start reading(Noob)

I've been watching hour long videos on youtube on Cannabis Cultivation. Informative, I know the basics of plant cultivation...

Lights, pH, Vegging/Flower. Where should I start as a beginner? Would you recommend reading Marijuana Bible? Right now all I'm doing is reading through forums. I've found 420magazine very helpful, as well as "GreenmansPage" ...is GreenMansPage a good source for information?

^^ start there...all the basic information anyone would ever need to start growing marijuana

For a beginner, I would recommend starting with regular 4' fluoroescents for veg growth and a 400 or 600 Watt HPS for flowering.

Definetly read a book first. My personal preference are Mel Frank's books on growing.

Also, keep poking around the forums and be patient. Another thing I would recommend to a new grower is to put into flower early. Like at 10 - 12" tall until you get the hang of it. This is because smaller plants take less nutrients. Another point is the water. Just using basic well water or plane city water could kill your plants. Have your water tested for pH and PPM. If your water is not in acceptable ranges, I recommend filtering the water with a reverse osmosis filter.
