Where to find larger mason jars to fit big colas for curing?

So I have the regular mason jars (about the height of a bottle of soda youd get in a vending machine)


And I just held it up to a cola and I don't think it will fit.

I need something a little bigger, but not CRAZY big.

Where would I find something like that?

I found my current jars at a grocery store, but they were the biggest they had.

nice pic man. i have some big jars from wal mart but i dont think they are air tight. i cut the colas up to smaller nugs.
cosco or pier 1 maybe.

ive heard of people using the home depot buckets with lids, line with plastic.

That's too big for me. Plus its my first dry/cure so I need to be able to see the sweat in the jar so I know when to open :P

Thats probably what I need. Any idea where elsewhere I might find one of those?

check out your local thrift stores they have tons of glass jars (well in my area)

i got like a half gal jar for $3
they dont have logos or anything but hey its a glass jar and its cheap...

I got my 1 gallon pickle jars at a submarine sandwich shop for a quarter each. Sometimes the shops will keep them aside, if you ask around I'm sure you'll get some.

fwiw you should burp the jars in the first 2 weeks or so regardless moisture or not. you will need to watch for moisture tho and if you see it, burp those jars for much longer.

All the thrift stores are like a half hour away, and the last few times I've been there I haven't seen any mason jars...

yeah I know I plan to be burping them every day gotta avoid that mold

All the thrift stores are like a half hour away, and the last few times I've been there I haven't seen any mason jars...

hhahaha thanks man :)

its bagseed, and on day 68 of flower.. hoping to cut this weekend, but hey weel see the trichomes are all cloudy right now just looking for some amber.

also its a CFL grow believe it or not

Oop. The pic provided is day 62, but i'm on day 68

okay so 1.3 gallon/5.3 ltr jars filled 95% with dried buds. how much bud can you fit in 10 of these things?

any guestimates?
