Its available 99% at vets hardware in lansing Michigan! Its shipping issues why its so hard to get. Ups wont carry it.
Before i found that little gem i found a good source where is could go pick it up cash and carry was from a printing sign and vinyl graphic supplier. Its used in that industry to clean substrates. A big supplier that likley has a warehouse you can pick up at is fellers. Or fellers.com

I used to find the big 1 gallon jugs at Ace Hardware. My local stores stopped carrying it a few months ago because quote "People are using it to make drugs".
You can grab the smaller bottles at Walmart etc. Just do the math on how many smaller bottles you'll need. You might get some funny looks from the cashier.
I just said screw it and used Everclear for the last batch. It's damn close as far as alcohol % but it's also food grade.
Did loads of trim with 3/4 of a gallon in a huge jar. Rigged up a big screen pouch and just teabagged it in there. Oil sinks to the bottle. Ring out the bag. Let it settle and add another. Rinse and repeat til you're out of stems and trim. After everything is said and done run it through a large tea filter into a big glass casserole dish. Then evaporate alcohol.

The cheapest I've found it was on eBay for about $15 a gallon.

Randalls where I get mine.
~10 a gallon
$1.18-1.38 per pint depending location
Never had a problem getting ups or whoever.. They don't need a hazmat placard to carry it.
It's about weight.
Youd be surprised who gets contracted to haul pharmaceutical loads. Precursors and chems..say anhydrous ammonia etc
