She's stretching quite a bit. What strain is that? You want to wait until you've got 5 or 6 pair of nodes established, then cut away node pairs 1 and 2, and 5 and 6, leaving 3 and 4. But with the stretch I'm seeing, pick a mid-point and cut (about an inch above the set of the nodes to be the new tops.)

Move your light closer, and start training so she doesn't outgrow your space.
