Ok so last grow I caught a lot of wind burn the way my fan were setup. Can someone please give me a good idea of where I should hang my fans that circulAting air in the tent
Where is your fan located in your 4x8 tent?

If you look to the right I have a small fan tied to side post and it’s blowing just under the light over canopy. The leaves are only slightly moving, you dnt want fan directly blowing in them. I also have a fan on opposite side on floor in back corner to circulate the bottom and again having it so it doesn’t aggressively blow on plants. Hope this helped!

Thanks that answers one my question, I had the fan oscillating over the tops and noticed a few turning edges, one other thing I'm trying to get an idea of is the max temperature in direct light ie right under your lamp?

The important temps are air temps and leaf surface temps.
Air temps are read in shade to get proper reading.
Leaf surface temps can be read with a laser thermometer .
As for radiant heat, if your using HPS place your hand at canopy and if you can hold it there its fine for plants.
But plants tolerate far higher radiant heat than they do air temp.

Not sure I understand ... if you’re asking what the temp should be in grow area, then that should be about 75 deg. For most strains. Can be higher or a little lower but humidity needs to be at 55% . If you hold your hand right at canopy height under the light, and your hand get hot almost burned then raise your lights up .

Cool air, with the highest CO2 level will come from the vents at the bottom. Air should come in through those. The extraction fan is pulling the air out through the filter. The extraction fan should be at the top of the tent, preferably in the middle (likely along a tent wall).
My thinking then is you want a consistent temp and humidity throughout the tent. Imagine the air coming in and going directly from the vents to the extraction fan. Your job is to gently circulate the air around the tent so temps and humidity are as consistent as possible, from the bottom up.
#xtsho has even demonstrated growing with no additional fans besides extraction.
Fans on low settings that oscillate are the easiest to work with. Fans without rotation should be indirect i.e. Off the walls or pointing up as that one nice photo shows above.
You are creating a nice environment for them. The fans are only to create gentle consistent airflow over the entire crop, nothing more or less. VPD then becomes very important once you dial in your consisten airflow. Get the rh in range and no more issues imo.
In a tent where heat at the top is an issue, have a small fan blowing over the heatsink, power supply or right under the lights to really help control the heat.

I have one blowing from the bottom up through the canopy and one blowing a gentle breeze across the top of the canopy. Exhaust/scrubber in the top right corner of my tent.

Radiant heat thanks that's the word I was after yes the foliage that's in the hottest area is 28c but the air temp (taken in shade) 25c its the radiated heat I'm concerned about.
It's a 1mtr parabolic with a 600/1000w what sort of height would you have that from the canopy.

I'm using a 6" rvk fan with 1x6" and 1x 8" inlet facing towards the oscillating fan .
I've got the extraction at the furthest highest point.
I've doctored my variac and relays to switch between pre set and varied speed so %rh is something that isn't a problem for a change.
