Where have I gone wrong ??

Hi all,

I've just started cutting down these girls. They've had just shy of 11 weeks of flowering. I've run Canna Coco nutrients throughout the entire grow, using the autopot flexi pot system and LED CLW solar system 550s x 2 in an 4x8.

The grow went pretty smooth no real issues spring to mind. These are the biggest plants I've grown to date and I was really happy with how they looked until today.

As I've started cutting then down and trimming I've noticed that the top 40cm, 15 inches or so of the plant are great buds, nice color, real dense nuggets and trichomes are about 30% amber. As you get below that they start to turn really light in color, fluffy buds and trichs are not as far developed.

Does anyone have any knowledge they can share with me, where I may have gone wrong and what I can do to improve on the next run ??

How was your light penetration down low and what were your day/night tent temps? Those are the first things that come to mind for me.

I thought light penetraion may have been a factor as well. I stopped defoliation around day 21 and the canopy filled up quickly with new leaves, I didn't want to strip again just in case I stunted their growth in mid flower... but yeah the canopy was pretty thick

If you run into that problem again,, dont cut the bottom half down, leave it for 2 or 3 more weeks if you can..

And yes canopy manigement..
If you use that set up again You'll do better with a net( scrog ) and loli popping your plants ( trimming off the bottom of the plants)
