Where do i place my light? Need advice, ASAP? (:

I have a CFL Duel spectrum blue and red band 125w light, atm i got it above the plant about 3'' away with both spectrum's of light hitting it... but the most the heat and light comes out the sides of the bulb, so was wondering if should move it at the sides to get more light? & which side do i have it? Red side or Blue?? :?:DSC_0154.jpg This was 3 days ago, its now 22 days old.

only thing in that picture that actualy look realy good is the plant .. that nice realy healthy looking ..

but soil .. pot .. light .. tin foil .. you schould consider to do sumthing about ..

Ooh yea and tell me .. is soil expensiv in your part of the world ?

ya they are right fix the soil and lose the tin you can get plastic that is black on one side and white on the other it works good and more light tones more light at 22 days old that plant should be much bigger

naa soil's like 6 pound....the plants a week behind though, had it ona window sill for the first 7 days... whats wrong with the light? & i will put different soil in, juss not yet because i dont wanna damage it.. & where do i get that plastic from?

No its not a light issue, thats enough light easily for that stunted midget its too small too skinny and generally shithouse. Get some veg hydro nutes and use every watering(directions on bottle) as its underfed, use perlite when you repot and raise the light a little as its not happy that close. It can still be ok ,looks like it had a rough start to life but its getting better. Get temps under 80 as well.

sorry, my first seeds havent sprouted yet but. i have organic soil (with pearlite) and i dont have to transfer anything because i'm starting in large pot. ive heard the less you have to transfer the lesser chance of error. so somebody correct me if im wrong but start there???

So tell me buds, ive got two seeds germinating in soil. two germinating in a paper towl, and two in a rockwool. which is preferable? and when and if these sprout. how should i run my lights? Hours of the day? distance from the sprout, etc.... Thanks ;)
