Where Do I Clone!????

Alright so I know HOW to clone and all that the problem is I don't know WHERE to take the cutting... Last time I took a clone it was from a small plant and I cut a branch at the main stem.. Nothing grew back from where I took the cutting.. Can someone post a pic with a circle/arrow of exactly where you should take a cutting? Thanks

cut any small branch at least two nodes from the tip.

...I just make sure that theirs 2 nodes under the place where I physically cut.....those two nodes (nodes are very small tops/clones) will turn to two clones, if left alone, they will turn into branches full of clones. If their isn't any nodes below your cut, odds are your plant will not produce any new tops.....although, cannabis is hellbound and determined to survive, I wouldn't be suprised if new tops would pop up over time, idk.....but, I doubt it.

So which line red, or blue? Not sure if im supposed to cut it all the way down like the blue line or does it not matter?Also what if the nodes are alternating like the second pic and there isnt 2 nodes?

In your pic, cut at the blue line in the second picture. Remove the fan leaf at that juncture and either dip in gel or w/e your preferred hormone. In the first illustration, also cut at the blue line and remove the fan leaves at that node.

Alright thanks... just so im 100% clear i cut at the blue line ABOVE those bottom nodes right, so new growth will grow there?

...yeap, if there's nodes under your cut, the nodes below will contine to grow.
