Where did All the Old Dogs Go?

i don't see many vetran RIU members here anymore. what happend, did they get the boot or move on on there own.. can't blame them though.. it is what it is i guess..

they all started new accounts so they can hide

they started a hippie commune on Saturn...Pony was elected president. Doc11 and Crypt are starting a clinic for ducks.... Or it could of been the new MODS...not sure

I think some of them just got disgusted with the name calling, last November. The younger bunch seem to have it all figured out, and don't need advice from the older, more experienced among us.

They banned Bricktop, he was the one guy I could rely on for no bullshit advice. Anyone who complains, the posts just get locked.

When the little rep button disappears, it means they're banned I think the two new mega mods kinda pushed a lot of people away, i dont blame em.

I've seen such changes before, and each time, site activity has dropped through the floor.

Americans don't do well when repressed.

Basically a couple of rent-a-mods. They are total strangers but have been given fake rep and a fake 2000 post count to makle members think they're a grounded part of the community when in reality they are not and noone knows nor trusts them or their decisions. They basically came on a posted a list of rules, half of which was reasonable, half of which wa an utter joke

See that, that was excessive smilies, according to the rules i should now recieve an infraction for that. You can also receive an infraction for posting pictures which do not have a concept (what?) or say having too many spaces in your post, sensible rules like that

Yeah, nothing like "I read it somewhere" to trump years of actual growing experience.

Of course, the new *hired gun* MOD'S really helped it along.

Agreed. But in my case (on my 5th and 6th grows) BT and the likes, while gruff at times, are growing gods compared to me based on their years of experience and research. i wish he had a book.

some got the boot, many have moved on to a new site recently formed by one of the RIU members.
