Where can I go?

I just read in the paper that my town is going to ban cultivation within the city limits. I could fight this, and probably win in the long run, but if I can move elsewhere in California, it might work out better. Does anybody have suggestions on counties or cities with lenient cultivation laws?

Thanks!

Thanks! I have friends in Oregon and some family, but our kids and grandkids are in California. We need to stay within a couple hundred miles of Sacramento.

Sonoma County but the cost of living is high. If you're visited and within the law, police make a quick exit, they have more pressing matters to attend to, especially with austerity cutbacks. However, there are the occasional home invasions but that happens at commercial grow sites, like anywhere else. Law enforcement makes plenty of busts but not of backyard growers, like me.

Thanks guys! Two very good suggestions. I have several friends around the Sierra foothills. Ill call and see what's up. Further suggestions would be welcome. Thanks again!

topcat - you're in Sonoma County? Me too. Not sure how worried I should be about the neighbors, but all my stuff is indoors at the moment. Thinking of moving a bunch of them outside next month.
