with enough power to grow 2-3 medium sized plants? I'm thinking 150 watts and up.. Can I get a link to a website?
I went light shopping last weekend and came across a lot of "Dawn-to-Dusk" yard lights, none of which I thought were the correct HPS lamps.

can someone link me to a website with the correct lights or perhaps the lights that you use? thanks a lot :peace:

a lot of people around here use HTG, they seem to get pretty good reviews from the RIU community. i bought my stuff on ebay. i bought a DIY ballast kit, the mogel socket and the 400w bulb and the total cost after shipping and stuff i think was just under $100. so thats always an option too...especially to save money :)

For 2-3 you'll want closer to 200 to 400 watts of light. 150 most likely won't cut it for 2-3 decently sized plants. However with 150 watts you could do one maybe two decent sized plants. A general rule is you want at a minimum close to 100w per plant.

Thats the one I have too, except I got the ultimate 400 watt MH & HPS. The Ultimate is a better deal It comes with reflector hangers, and timer too!

When you go to hang you light from the ceiling or something you will need to add weight to the light reflector (see pic)! I get this question a lot. Because You will have a light weight reflector, you will need to add weight to the top of the reflector, in order to use the Sunrise hi-low reflector hangers. I use two cans of veggies, and It works great now. If you have any questions about the light or the hangers, or anything else for that matter just hit me up!:leaf:

my bad I thought i put up some pics! Here you go!
