where are thr trichomes on stalks?

hi all, I have been reading alot of posts saying there are trichomes on the stems of our lovely ladys, but where are they? I have been looking and looking but I cant find them, I was going to do what I saw in a post where you put a small pot in the freezer with the stems and shake with a grinder to collect keif, it seems a realistic idear but I cant find the trichomes, can anyone help?, I have heard that it is far from the best smoke but it will do in hard times, thanks.

Plants only get trichom when u put them in flower and then mainly in the bud leaf if u wanna collect trichomes I suggest u buy some bubble hash bag and make bubble hash

Is the plant in flowering yet?

vegging plants will have trics as well as flowering, just not nearly the same amount obviously ...

umm, as to the question about trics on stems.. i guuss there might be a few on the stems, but i think you mistook what someone was saying about trics..
trics are like lil lollipops imvho.. if you look at them under a scope, to me, they look like a lil lollipop.. the head, the actual gland, sits on top of the stalk of the tric.. the stalk is like the handle part of the lollipop if you will.. i think this is what you got mixed up with trics actually being on the stalks of the plants.. the heads, the actual lollipop part that we'd stick into our mouths, is the part that contains the thc and the terpenes, and all the other goodies we're after..

so again, yes, some trics might be on stalks, it's not nearly the amount on the sugar leaves and buds..

The tea wouldnt have any psychoactive effect, as THC is not water soluble. The "crystals" on stems arent really gonna have much of the "good" stuff in them. When I was 14/15 Id save up all my stems and soak them in isopropyl alcohol for a few days, then let that evap and get some "oil" that would get you through when I was dry

I collect trim and sift that in a silk screen to collect the kief. You'll find almost no triches on stems. They are always on sugar leaves and fan leaves.
