When does the outdoor grow season in so cal start so i can start my seeds outdoor?

The part i am confused about is how do i keep them vegging and make them not flower? without any indoor cfl lights. i just want to start my seeds outdoor let them veg and flower a few months down the line

Your plant will flower on its own time, they are genetically wired to flower when they are ready to flower, unless you are growing Autos... let mother nature do her thing.

I used to live in SB and all my friends would start around mid april to may. It really depends on what strains you're trying to grow though. Some are earlier and others are later.

i am growing kaya gold and bana kush and purple kush.. i heard kaya gold is good in mostly any climate good for beginners
