When will it begin to flower naturally? (My first outdoor grow)

So I began my first outdoor grow back in April/May. I started off with 12 plants. Currently 7 have survived. They all appear to be doing very well. I have 1 plant that is over a foot now, and the other 6 were started a few weeks later and are all under a foot but doing great. My questions are as follows: 1.) When will the plants begin to flower, and will they do it on their own naturally? 2.) Do I need pull them from sunlight to achieve a 12 sunlight/12 dark period, or do I just wait until Fall does this on it's own as the days begin to get shorter? Thanks-:wall:

This is a perfect example of a thread that could have been avoided with a simple search.

Your plants will do its on thing its a weed you have to remember that but depeneding on where you live the flowering period might not be that long...look at your FAQ click that

Ok well I guess I meant when can I expect the plant to start flowering....end of August? When should I start to see the production of buds? I have read the FAQ and it does not tell me this...it only tells me when the plants are ready to harvest...thanx

it depends on the strain. you might have one that flowers faster than others. My plants are already starting to show pre-flowers. figure it will take between 5-12 weeks for flowering to finish.

You plants going to start to flower when the days are shorter so every day getting cloer towards winter its going to flower...but not till the days are getting cut out early ...dpeneding on where you live around here it starts getting dark in fall about 6-7...but you just need to read a little

Just give him the info he wants. Usually most outdoor plants start budding around the first or second week of august. Hope this helps.

Angus,
Who cares if he could have looked it up? Either give him assistance or just don't comment.. This forum is not geared for negativity. Good luck on your grow bruh..

They'll be flowering any time. You don't have to do anything, just keep them outside, the sun does the rest. Keep watering them on a regular basis, give em some flowering nutrients if you want to improve the buds. And get some pics up soon after they start flowering!

my single outdoor early skunk(my 5 auto ak47;'s where stolen close to harvest*bluemax sniffles and cries*) is on forced flower being put in the dark, gone for about a week now,and this plant has 22 main flowers (it was topped at about 2 and a half months veg,its very uniform with a tall profile),best way to know is with a hand held micro scope, you need to look at the trichomes(cystals) to see when its ready, when most are milky and some are amber, its time to harvest.

the magnifying glass on my swiss army knife is actually just decent enough to see the trichomes,i couldnt beleive it,sick looking at the plant up close makes it so much better

growing is so damn addictive, its pathetic cannabis is illegal,it should be mandatory to smoke that shit, the world would be a better place, its ok to smoke it in holland, and they havent turned into a huge nation of potheads, when will the govt listen to the people, they sell us poisons over the counter, but deny us the safest medical drug known to man kind, its utter lunancy and it makes my blood boil

First of all If you planted them over 3 and a half months ago and 1 plant is a little over a foot tall and the rest are shorter.....you have a problem. Not enough light, too much water, over fert...who knows. All I can tell you is a 3 and a half month old weed should be big and bushy...got a picture?

Exactly my thought, might be that he is just letting them grow outside w/o doing anything but watering..
