when to start flushing?

so im on day 40 of flower on mango and church both predominately indicas and the pistils are done swelling and turning red, i have also seen some of the trichs goin milky with a few amber ones. im wanting to flush for 2 weeks u guys think my timing will be right so my trichomes dont start to degrade?

Its hard to say without pics. If you think that you are 2 weeks away from harvest, then start flushing now. Also dont know if 2 weeks flush is totally necessary; I usually only flush for a week and it always turns out great. Just make sure that it's a good flush with plenty of water.

do you keep flushing till 0 ppm and then cut or keep at zero for a couple of days then cut?????

Its gonna be hard to reach 0 ppm when flushing. I usually only flush once with about 6x the amount of water as the size of the pots. The plants then uses all the stored nutrients inside the plant matter for it's last few days.....then chop.

been flushing for 2 weeks finally got to 0 ppm but today check it and it was betwween 200 and 300 ppm, do i keep flushing or go ahead and cut'em????

Leave them in the dark for 24 hour sor just wait until lights come on and then chop'em???

If you have a few hair's that are turning then i would flush when around 50% of of the hair's are red,this will give the plant another 7 days for the other's to turn.I have alway's gone by this rule and when flushing start's this will normaly start the other white hairs to turn.I used to go by both the hair coulour and the tricone coulour but once you have done a few grow's then you will know when it is time to flush has soon has 75% of the hairs have changed coulour.But if the plant has had any undue stress then it is always best to check both out hairs and tricone's because some time's the tricone's will change week's ahead of scedule,in this situation i would take the plant's down that bit earlyer.Flush has soon has possible dry and smoke or the smoke will get harsh and be realy heavy,but i like to sometime's let the plant's run that bit longer beacuse i use for medical reasons and the longer the plants are left the more of a sedative effect it will have great if you have trouble sleeping.When i say this i do not mean let them run 3/4 weeks over what i mean is a 8 week strain i will flush at the end of week 8 and let it run into week 9 sometime's 9 1/2.........................tyke.........................................................

i'd say 1.5-2 weeks before harvest. how are your trichs looking so far?

I don't really flush just for the 3 weeks leading up to harvest i just water with evaporated water and that should do the trick to clean out all the nutes. Although i use all organics so there isn't much to flush out but still.
