Hi all. I'm new here but not growing. I've grown indoors years about 10 years ago and want to try some outdoor growing. I'm pretty limited on space. Only 4-6 plants, tops. I also dont want them to get too big. 5-6 feet. My question is when should i start my plants so they wont get too big at the end of flowering. I have Sannies Heribei. Jackberry F4. Rosetta Stone and Super Lemon Haze X Blue Satellite. I plant on mainlining the girls to keep the height down. Thanks in advance. RP

Depends where you live, frost dates can make outdoor growing a bit of a gamble depending on where you live. I wouldnt worry about height because you ca. Always just tie them down. A couple years back I had a plant along a fenceline that would have been super obvious but I kept tying it down, got 6' tall before it showed sex and it was male. Also topping can reduce height.

I would start them now because it going to take them a while to get out of the seedling stage about a month and a half

I started mine indoors about 3 weeks ago under 24/0. I am reducing the hours of light they get -1 hour every 6 days until June 12th when they match the hours of daylight outside, so that they don't go into shock or start to flower when I transplant " I hope! " I am kind of wishing I just planted via feminized seed so that they would have just grown up accustomed to outdoors.

I'll be starting to put some of mine out after the 7th.. that's when we start getting over 14 hours of light per day where I live. Our average last frost date is the 19th of May but I don't think I'll have to worry about that. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I live in the southeastern US. No worries about frost here. I have a Jackberry thats 2 weeks old so far and have 3 Heribei fems and 2 Rosetta Stone regs soaking. Popped a seed I found in a bag of Kush but fell over after it popped through the soil. :(
