When to harvest

Hi,
I was hoping you guys could help me with my plants. I'm not sure what stage i'm about but I would assume flowering. I would say about 50% of the hairs on them are reddish brown but there doesn't seem to be any bud actually growing. Please tell me what you guys thing about the plant in general and when would be a good time to harvest. This is my first plant. It went well but it just doesn't seem that full.

That doesn't look ready man. I would wait 2.5-3 weeks longer probably. Looks awesome, but I would wait for it to fill out more.

Ya its definately not ready at the moment. Some of the buds look more ready than others. I'm hoping it will fill out to give me atleast an ounce. I'm in california and it just flourished but looked quite different than some of the other plants i've seen.

Those buds should fatten up nicely provided the right environment. At the very least you still have a few weeks. Already have great frosting on them... mmmm

The waiting is the hardest part. haha... I go out and check them everyday. Just not sure what i'm looking for haha except for the trichomes to reach a cloudy to amber color.

These plants are california grown on a patio :) I have lots of spices growing so it doesn't smell to much and I also have a litter box for my cat outside and he likes to move that litter around every hour. I did cut the nitrogen and change to a bloom feed. They seem to be doing well but don't seem to be really filling out. I guess it just takes a while when their outside growing. I seriously think they've been in the flowering stage for about two months now.

is the pot that your using big enough? Stunting the growth maybe...oculd only kinda see it looks small for the size to me...

It may be small. Its a 10" across pot. Would it be bad to move them to a bigger pot? Would it be to late? The buds aren't large at all. I think that may be it.

its pretty late to transplant it now,the roots will be all along the sides of pot so any kind of moving it now would hurt....where i live the groud is hard clay and i have to dig out the ENTIRE area i want the roots to grow...i didn't make it big enough and the buds just seem to be getting bigger EVER SO SLOWLY....its your call to move it....i read somewhere that there is so much soil/per so much height of your plant,if that makes sense....soooo you need A LOT of root room for a big plant like that.

That makes sense though. it was growing so quickly then it slowed dramatically. I thought I read somewhere that a five gallon pot should be sufficient and I thought mine was somewhere around there. I don't want to hurt it since i'm weeks away from harvesting it. Don't want all that work for nothing.

Well its been two weeks I believe. I have new pictures of them and was wondering what you thought about them. I checked with a hand held microscope and they are at about 10% amber, 80% Cloudy and 10% clear so i'm just waiting days now. I was just wondering why the buds are so small. Their on my patio and get sun for most of the day. The rest is indirect sun but definately bright. I need these to be done by saturday the 11th because i'm moving.

sativa's take longer to finish than indicas. If your moving you already know your answer. I have a sativa out back thats taking its sweet ass time. I believe in letting it take its natural course. No rush! Dont believe in that percentage shit. You will know when your plants are done. All about the strain when it comes to the type of high you want. Head=sativa-- Body=indica

It's definately filled out quite a bit the last couple days. Hopefully it will do the same this week and it'll be harvesting time :) Even if it is only for a couple grams.
