When to harvest? (Sativa) My 1st grow. Pictures included

Hi guys,

I'm growing sativa Sacitrus-Haze and they have just finished their 4th week of flowering.

Since this is my first grow, I'm not quite sure how much more weeks approximately I need until they are ready to harvest?
I need to know at least one week earlier so I can start flushing them with water onlywith no feeding.

I want to get head-high (up high) feeling from them. Not the one which makes you to sit/lay down and stone yourself.

I'm using 2X 600W HPS lights.
Day temperature about 31 Celsius (88 F)
Night temp. about 21 C (70 F)

Also, some leaves are getting yellow and rotting. Is this normal since they're getting old, or it's some nutrient/PH problem?

Please advise.
Thanks a lot!

You have a long time to go I would buy a microscope!
Some people say that a magnifier is enough. Do I really need a microscope?

What do you think about these yellow-rotten leaves? Is it normal while they're aging or it could be some nutrient/Ph problem?

Thank you.

The fertilizer I'm using is the brand BioBizz. It has 4 products called "Bio Heaven", "Bio Grow", "Bio Bloom" and "Top Max".
"Bio Heaven" composition: amino acids
"Bio Bloom" composition:
  • Nitrogen (N) total 2,0 % (of which Ammonium Nitrogen (NH4) 0,9 % and Nitrate (NO3) 1,1 %)
  • Phosphorus Pentoxide (P2O5) 6,0 %
  • Potassium Oxide (K2O) 3,5 %
"Bio Grow" composition: sugars and vitamins
"Top Max" composition:
  • Macronutrients: Nitrogen (N) 0,1 %, Phosphorus Pentoxid (P2O5) 0,01 %, Potassium Oxide (K2O) 0,1 %
  • Micronutrients: Boron (B) 0,011 %, Copper (Cu) 0,001 %, Iron (Fe) 0,009 %, Manganese (Mn) 0,001 % and Zink (Zn) 0,004 %

I dose them just like instructed on the paper file I've got with them:

I've just finished feeding Week 8 from the instructions file. It says I should feed them 2 more weeks, then flushing, according to these instructions.

You mean to say I should up the nitrogen dosage right?

Without looking at your trichomes it is hard to tell. However from the pictures, you have at least 4 to 5 weeks to go minimum. Also the yellowing leaves seem to be isolated to one plant, which indicates an issue with that plant (assuming that all of the other plants in the picture are the same strain and age). The yellowing looks different than typical yellowing due to age/flowering stage.

Thanks for your reply!
The yellowing leaves is now starting in all plants a bit. Some of their leaves are slowly loosing green pigment and becoming yellow. But not all of ones. Only older ones. New smaller leaves looks healthy.

Do you know what may cause this yellowing. I started with a bit higher dosages with feeding in beginning of the flowering stage due to mistake in understanding instructions. last 2 weeks in vegetation I started adding blooming fertilizers and just later I figured out I shouldn't do it before flowering started. Maybe this could cause this yellowing?

Your doing fine just only use the bloom fertilizer stop fertilizing 1- 2 weeks before you harvest and maybe get a microscope .
