When to harvest my Auto GigaBud

Hey guys,
this will be my first harvest and not to sure when they will be ready. I've heard with autos not to go by the trichomes as a lot of the times auto trichs do not change from clear.
They are in the 10th week from breaking ground.
Any opinions on when to harvest are greatly appreciated

As for autos not going on trichome color I don’t know if that is ALWAYS true. I have heard there are some sativas where they won’t turn amber. For you I would indeed go by trichomes , if they are all clear then say it is too early. Go another week and see what happens. Try a sample and see if it is strong.

Thank you for the input!
Just out of curiosity why for me is it ok to go by the trichomes?

Well based off of what you said you heard, and based on what I have heard, and what I have not heard, I think the safest thing would be to go by trichome appearance. As well I see a few new white hairs which could indicate more time required. Do you have a jewelers loupe to look?

I do and all trichomes are clear.
I believe you're right when you said wait a bit longer a try to judge by trichome color and take samples
