No that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that it turns amber, stays amber, and then after a few days of being in the elements (light, heat, ect.), it starts to deteriorate. Why do you think everyone says not to dry and cure in the light?so as soon as they turn amber colored the thc starts to degrade into something useless?? do you have anything to prove this????

I could be too....I don't know any of this from experience, I'm just going on what I read. I definitely don't have the time or the capabilities to watch trichomes that closely, but I assume Jorge Cervantes and the people he deals with to write his books and articles do. As far as it happening not happening unless the plant was dying....that's exactly what's happening to the plant. Isn't it. It flowers like any other plant that does so, and then the leaves and flowers start to die once they've done so? Again, I could be wrong. And just so everyone else that's reading this know, this isn't an argument...it's a discussion. No need for boots or gloves.
Wat does flush mean ????????????i am into day 55 of flowering and my leaves are turning yellow, i know from reading others post this is too be expected, however i failed to start the flush untill i noticed the yellowing. from what i have read the flush should be done for about 10 days, but i am not sure if my plants will last? i dont know if there are any bad consequences to leaving them in to long? Can i do a shorter flush? are there methods to flushing more efficently? any advide would be greatly appreciated!
That's awesome that you're doing it. I think alot of people including myself would like to know. Try and watch the "heads" of the trichs to see if they fall off, or if the trichs themselves shrink at all. I've heard that happens too so I'd like to know if you can.I am at 55 days of flower today with 7 plants from various bagseed. I chopped down two of them that could have gone a few days longer..... but I am almost out of smoke.
I have two plants that are from the same stock. I will harvest 1 when the trichs are at 40-50 % amber and let the other go 100% amber and I will let you all know what comes of it.
See if the smoke and the high are truly that different. Check my journal in the sig for updates to this experiment over the next few weeks.
