yo

so ive got a flash purple mazar auto that i am about 99% sure it is male. i want to grow it out and harvest the pollen and save it for later so i can cross it with another female.

my question is, how do i know when the male is ready to harvest?
also whenis the best time to polinate a female? around week 3 of flower?

good input will be rewarded with rep. ive got quite a bit to pass out lol

thanks in advance for your help

peace

I isolate the male I want, and right before the pollen sacs start busting open, I lay the plant down sideways on a large piece of plastic. After a few days the plastic is covered in pollen. Then I ditch the male. There is probably a better way but it gets the job done for me.

From pollination the seeds will need about 6 weeks to mature. I never do it at the first sets of white hairs, I wait until little buds are formed and I know I can give them at six weeks to mature.
I check my males closely and cut the top off the plant and put it in a glass of water away from my girls until the pollen begins to drop. I tap the pollen sacks and keep the pollen in the fridge in a jar til needed. A little pollen goes along way.
Hope this helps:leaf:
