When to go from Seedling to Veg cycle +rep 4 help

i just put my 3 inch little thing into veg from seedling. its now under the 18/6 cycle. would anyone be kind enough to explain what determines if the seedling is ready to start the veg stage? and if i did mine too soon?

seedling and veg is the same thing, theres nothing to screw up or do too early- regarding the light cycle anyways.

"seeding" is referred to as Germination. The process of removing the dormant embryo in the seed. It isnt the same as veggin, its the process before.

Once you have started your first true node, the one above the seedling leaves, then you're in veg mode as the plant is now starting to grow. When you make your lights 12/12, then you induce flowering mode. Since generally nothing more than leaving them under veg lights or transplanting them is required from seed to veg mode, it appears the same. Good luck!!
