When to Flip?

Hi, Hope everyone’s day has gone well out there in the MJ growing universe. It’s my first time growing cannabis in almost 40 years. Four plants in 4x4 tent w/filtered ventilation Strain is from photoperiod seed WWAK47 in organic super soil, 5gal fabric pot under DIY Vero 29’s 3000K&4000K at 400-800watts - 18on/6off. SCROG net is approximately 8” above soil level, I think the grid spacing is 2.75” square. Watering with rain water and have fed once with liquid organic fish food. The perlite on top was just to drive the fungus gnats crazy until I could get rid of them. Plants are vigorous. Pictures are a month apart. When would you flip to 12/12?
Thank you for any help.

Looks good. I'd get some dry amendments to top dress with and some EWC. I don't know where you live, but there should be something easy to use close by. Just need a veg formula and a bloom formula. Dr. Earths is really common in the US.

Keep going … you have to have enough vegging to weave in those branches .
Thanks Buds, I thought that might be the case, maybe a couple more weeks.

Thank you PW, I checked and Home Depot right down the street had DrEarth’s in stock, I’m going to get some tomorrow.
With you Budz - spread her through the mesh. With SCROG's - use a rigid frame and taut string then fill your net(s).

(I will work on my plant centering skills ... really I will ... )
Wow! Nice even and full canopy you have there StareCase! Had you flipped at the time that pic was taken? My SCROG is like yours. I was able to use some Brazilian Cherry I’ve been hanging on to and a thin piece sure is rigid, I was able to pull the string real tight. Thank you! CE0A11E0-FDB2-46ED-BD6F-FA62DACB27A7.jpeg

Yep, some good Sativa got me through that project in a couple memorable hours. Now that wishing well in the background that I built for my wife, that thing worked the dogs shit out of me for a few days!

Thanks. Just keep spreading during VEG and you will have the same canopy. When I moved them into the tent on that day I started the process to get to 12/12. For that particular grow I gradually reduced the lights-on time by an hour each day until they reached 12/12.

Great job. Cherry to boot ... function with a touch of panache! My nets are just 1" x 1" wood trim cause I needed them to be lightweight and mobile to work with my set-up.

The plants go from the VEG area ...

... to the staging area for a quick pruning/cuttings for cloning ...

... to the flower tent.

I find pieces of solid mapel crown moulding in dumpsters around new homes,I rip usually to 1x 3/4 to make frames.
