i have a limited area to grow indoors with. I am wondering if 3 weeks of veg is good enough. Will it produce any bud if i begin the flowering stage now? thanks for any help.

well as u said you have a limited area to grow in/./so u need to take in2 account that the plant will alnost triple in size during flower.,.,so if u see that head space is geting low.,.,flower.,.,.,you should lo0k into toping/fim'n/lst(low stress trainig).,.,these tekniques will give you a more comfortable grow with limited space

what if your ceiling is 9 feet and your growing indica and you have the light on ceiling chains. my plants are already 12 inches at 2 weeks veg under 400 watt hps in an ebb and flo system. should i wait longer?

the plants are almost 5 inches, growing slow because i didnt have alot of light until last weekend. I have maybe 1.5 or 2 feet max.

Not a lot of space there - you may want to do some LST (lots of great threads on this, do a search on the forum), let her veg for a week after that, then throw it into flower.
What grow medium are you using? Can you fully adjust the height of your lights? Do you really have 9ft to work with?

im using hydroton,light can be adjusted all the way to the top of ceiling, i have about 5 or 6 feet to work with when you subtract the height of the ebbandflo and the light.
