When to add Nutrients?

Hi RIU its my first grow and I decided to grow the hydroponic way. Anyhow...I was wondering when I should add my first dose of nutrients to my plants? (How old should they be) Been reading a lot and can't seem to find a general answer. Thanks in advance.

hydro I think you add the nutes from day#1, you just adjust to how old the plant is.

I was just concerned because I read some people start from day 1 and don't have a problem at all and others say to wait until the cotyledons are yellow or fall off. Just a lil confused because I don't wanna over do it on my plants nor do I wanna kill them by not giving them nutes if they need it now. The plants are 6 days old.
