when SHOULD leaves begin to yellow?

i got some leaves losing color towards the tops buds, now there prob old leaves but the whole plant itself it losing its vigorious green look to it, was gonna feed it some N next feeding, anyways when should the plants be turning acceptably yellow? i would guess the last 1 or 2 weeks but not much more and only after the flush? they should still be very green all through flowering till the end?

plants are going to loose leaves during their entire growth.. during flowering more yellowing will occur.
post a pic your version of acceptable will vary from all ours.

sounds like they're fading to me...eed em'. but he's right^^ they will lose leaves all the time, but overall fade shouldn't be happening till mid Sept at least.

Imo never. A healthy flowering plant has green leaves from top to bottom due to not being rootbound and not deprived of water at any stage, also PH monitored.

I never disagree with you and not this time either but after a few weeks into flower I lose the bottom fan leaves to yellow, I cut them off actualy. Not just once but several times in fact they always do. As far as the Sugar Leaves go I do agree with you they should not. I do not like the fact that his have started from top to bottom instead of bottom to top.

it is normal during last couple weeks but it depends on your situation and environment etc. they yellow from the flowers using the nutes in leaves so if you flush for 2 weeks and they are still feeding hard they may yellow.

Leaves die.....especially when plants are in pots

I agree, yellowing from the top first usually not a good sign

Nothing wrong with root-bound plants, that's a helpful way to force earlier flowering. Depending on the strain, the degree of yellowing can be a good indicator as to when a strain is "done", outdoors. I would expect that those persons "flushing" plants should expect additional yellowing as they are basically forcing a greater degree of self-cannibalization than would normally be found in nature.
