when should I top my plant??

I was thinking about topping my next plant again but this time I shouldnt do it so early. when do you guys think is the rite time to top my plant? im thinking I can get a higher yield, ideas?

never j/k but I think you should look into LSTing or scrogging

LST or scrog works if you got a small confined indoor space, otherwise if you got the room go for the topping method (try FIM topping, or check out Uncle Bens topping techniques, a stickied thread)

LSTing or scrogging where would i find information on doing that? as for when to top the plants, i topped all mine at different times and the only thing i notced was that the ones i let grow a little bigger before topping seemed to do better and split faster, as for flimming i did that on two of my plants and so far havnt noticed any difference from the ones i topped, i am thinking i may have done the flimming part wrong tho
