when should i start flushing?

so im growing a sativa strain which i dont know the flowering time of. so im trying to go by jus looking at the trichs and hairs.


shes starting her 7th week of flower, the buds feel dense and really sticky and stink. about 20% of the hairs have turned orange. and the trichs are about 60/40 clear/cloudy and no signs of amber yet. I want that high that hits u fast all in the face at first then goes straight for ur body.


what color should the trichomes be when i start flushing? and what color should they be when i chop?


i really need some advice on this because i dont wannt flush/rip it too early, nor do i wanna do it too late.

From my experience sativa strains usually take about 3 months of flowering. Any pics?

imo, you're not ever going to get a couch lock stone out of a sativa, no matter what color the trics are, same as you're never going to get an up, speedy, motivational high from an indica..
if you want couch lock, grow an indica, if you want motivational, up, grow a sativa..

with what you have, just let it grow till it's mature, chop and enjoy, pick a strain that offers what your after next round..

I just flush with spring water 2 weeks before I chop.

by the looks of it, how much more longer do you think till its mature?

imo, i'd say you've probably still got close to a good month or so on that plant till it's ready to come down.. looks awesome mind you, just not super close to being ready imo..

Atleast a month I like my sativa's all cloudy with little clear

oh yes, and once they get closer to being ready, you'll probably start to see quite a bit of foxtailing on them being so heavily sativa and all..

some people aren't fans, but it doesn't bother me.. and it's usually seen in plants with a lot of sativa in them, as well as a result of heat stress..
