the pistils on my plant have been there about 4 days now. my plant has ben growing since april 22. it's on a 12/12 lightcycle. how long until she starts budding, and how long will she take to finish her flowering period. and if she gets no light for about 4 days will she revert back to the vegetative stage. Can anyone help

how long until she starts budding, and how long will she take to finish her flowering period.
That depends on many factors. usually it takes 8 weeks for a plant to finish flowering. If it is a pure sativa though, it can take up to 12.
and if she gets no light for about 4 days will she revert back to the vegetative stage.
It generally isn't a good idea to put her with no light for 4 days. She won't revert back but damn will she ever get stressed and stretch.

keep the lights on 12/12 and you will see more budding within 7 days after 3 weeks the size will be about 35-45% finished, from here its a slow ride. most growers harvest early due to impatience

Welcome jham
With total darkness during the 12 dark of the 12/12 8 weeks is a minimum.
The more indica that plant is the closer to 8 weeks it will mature.
The more sativa then who really knows.

I harvested a mostly indica plant last week at 8 1/2 weeks flower with 21 ds of veg.
My next plant to harvest is 9 weeks flower today with the same 21 ds veg.
This plant looks like it could go another 2 weeks easy.

It really depends on the growing conditions and the type of plant.

Happy growing

Why do people only veg for a few weeks? I realize that it makes for a shorter overall grow time but doesn't it really limit yield or is the plant stretching/vegging the entire time it's flowering? I know that the difference between a plant's size at five weeks versus three is almost double but does that extra two weeks vegging double your end yield?

heres the story of my first grow growing big bud strain. at 3 weeks of veg my largest plant was already 18" so I began flowering. by week 4 of flowering my plants ranged from 5'-6' they were hitting the bulb and burning!!! I had an 8' cieling. the light does not travel well down a 6" plant let me tell you buddy. next time Im starting flower when my smallest plant reach 8" that means my largest will be about 12"

you are growing mosterous plants. u gotta keep em small cuz mine triple in size. and I am indoors. outdoors is fine cuz I never heard of anyone ever touching the cieling of the sky. I mean the only thing you mught hit is the moon but I doubt your plants will get that big

she's about a 12.5''. I'm getting a little impatient cuz i want her to hurry. Thanx 4 the info.
