when seedlings need to be Transfered

Hey all I have three seeds that just popped and they are reaching for the light, have them in little small starter pots and the stem is real long there are about three baby leaves on them not sure when to put them in bigger pots, because the stem is long I dont want them to brake any advice?

Bury the stems down to a reasonable height and you can transplant now or later, just don't let them get to big in little pots. The roots won't have anywhere to grow.

So it will be ok to put them in one gallon bags now just bury the stem down sum? and also how would I prevent from happening next round?

If they are stretching then you need more light or more likelyto get it closer. what are they under?

Yes it'll be ok, they're stretching cuz they're looking for the light. If your usin cfls you need to keep the tops around 2 inches from the light to prevent.

I usually like to wait till I know they are pretty stable. it minimizes the risk of hurting the plant
