When is it too late to clone?

If you just switched over to 12/12 you should be ok to take clones now. I think it's ok to take clones up to 3 weeks into flower, after that your better off revegging than trying to clone.

true the further into flower you take a clone the slower it will root
one of the biggest myth i ever heard of since growing.
i got 4 clones were taking exactly on day 28 that rooted in 7-10 days. the only thing i noticed was that it's taken thin much longer to revert back to veg stage than rooting.

day 28 maybe but try taking one further down the line i can promise you it will take longer to root and revert so no myth there

I clone whenever I realise I need one.

Whether it's five days from harvest or fifty.

Go low and you can't go wrong.

Clones taking later in flower do take longer to revert to veg but once they do they outstrip others in growth easily.

yes cant clone when flowering
First reply to the OP, and it's completely WRONG! This is why research on any subject takes a long time, too much BULLSHIT to dig through.

Its also no wonder why I see so many sick, fucked up plants on here. Noobs helping noobs is a bad combo.

There is nothing wrong with not knowing something, but stop spreading ignorance to those who are trying to learn.

yes, it also depends on the strain i believe. the flowering hardier and vigorous strains root faster i think. i just took a few flowered cuttings from a very hardy and vigorous strain and it rooted it 7 days opposed to 14-21 days norm for cuttings to root from flowering plants. i take cuttings from the lower branches that are older and is more woody. i find cuttings from lower branches are more successful and root faster. better all around for cuts and me i believe. i agree, it does take longer for cuttings taken from flower to revert back to veg.

I just took cuttings and I'm in week 6 of flowering. It will take a little longer and if ya can put them in 24 hr light it will help. Good luck
