When is it time...? Trichome help

Love to get peoples thoughts on how far away my plant is until harvest?
And secondary harvesting. I have heard the morning is the best to cut the plant (before sun up). Due to work I'm worried I won't have time to cut the plant then spend hours harvesting and trimming.
Has anyone cut a plant hung it by trunk and the. Returned 8hrs later to finish the job?

I have attached a few pics on my plant. It's a Durban poison grow outdoors in the Southern Hemisphere. Started flowering mid feb.
She has gone a wonderful purple colour due to the night time cool air I'm guessing

any help would be great

looks like it still has time, trichome based harvest to me is all preference, those calyxes dont look swollen enough to me though
