when harvesting do i put weed in a dark room

im new at growing but after reading and looking at videos i know what to do when it comes to harvesting and curing except whether i keep the buds in a darkend room or could i keep them laying in a regular lit room when curing and harvesting them

not quite, it degrades the THC, after the plants been harvested, not while its growing of course

oh when i say a dark room i dont mean a room with the red lights i just mean like storing them in a cabinet or a room that doesn't get any light

cool dark place my friend. on the floor in a safe for example.
