when drying the buds do i manicure the buds then hang em?

even after a good flush i find that if i trim my buds straight after they smell like freshly mowed lawn, by plucking the fan leaves off drying and then trimming i find it doesn't stop smelling of bud and goes into the curing jar smelling better and comes out even better. I flush properly like everyone else and have been growing many years and this is just my experience, i have a good pallet and can taste the difference but thats just me, others may not

i wish mine smelled like lawn clippings ONLY for the sake of not having to worry about having the door kicked in for 5-7 days while i'm drying ha ha. my shit reeks...
