when do you let the rapid rooter fully dry?

Im curious, at what point after planting do you guys let the plug dry out?

I do flood and drain but i have it so the net cups are suspended (looks something like the pics below) but for the first couple weeks i flood once a day to keep the plugs wet until enough roots stick out of the pot where i can lower the flood line and flood more often.
do you think my method is optimal to grow the roots out as fast as possible?

Just as a rule of thumb (you look like you need very little direction, your doing good) but you never let rapid rooters dry out especially in the rooting or germination stage of growing but you don't really ever let them dry out unless there in soil n just a tiny piece stretched out by a 2" stem in a 15 gallon pot..

But if u wanna try to push it flooding... first of all you only do it during lights on so you have either 18 or 12 hours to play with (generally)... if your only doing it once, try flooding a second time with 3-4 hours at least of light left... if that shows either the same or improvements, add another but break up the amount of times flooding by the hours of light but not flooding at least an hour after lights on unless you obviously see a need for it but you should give them at least 30-60min before first flood...

They're resilient, just don't go nuke em with nutes and you'll be good... watch for burnt tips and that's about as far as u wanna go until they ask for more...

I know what you are saying by they never really totally dry out they always seem to have a bit of moisture no matter how big the plant is... i was just talking about when to stop purposely trying to wet the plug and im definitely going to try experimenting because it seems like theyre rooting only half as fast as they should

Are you rooting the clones completely (seeing secondary roots off the first roots you see) before you are putting the clones into the system and start flooding it??? If your clones aren't rooted 100%, they'll be stuck on stupid/stun for a good week or 2.... My lights are out right now but I'll get some fully rooted pics tomorrow for you and what roots will look like in dwc when your plants are about to take off...

Rapid rooters are good shit but I was joking above but.being also being serious, when rooting or when popping beans you have to learn how wet is too wet but anywhere near dry is a death sentence and will also slow your shit down... 100% rooted, and 1/4-1/2 dose of nutes for the first 3-4 days then you can start upping depending on root development... It's all dependent on root development before going in and how you treat them the first 4-7 days or so... One thing everyone has to and needs to let go of is the "why ain't they growing fast enough" a week in, no offense bro..been there, was there for years probably but a minute amount of patience will take you a lot father than almost anything else aside from grow knowledge...

Take some pics of what u got going on and someone if not myself will be able to help u...

How much nutes, water/nute temp, ambient temp/humidity, stuff like that be ready to list out with pics n we'll get you right....

Once your roots can enter the flood zone you can let the cubes dry out. Just make sure to flood 3-4 times a day
