when do trichs start to form?

when should i be able to see trichs in the microscope?

plants been flowering just over 4 weeks and was gunna take a look. just never done it till week 7 or so....

LiEBE is right...i would say for a majority of the time you should begin to see trich's halfway through the fifth week to the beginning of the sixth.. even then it will still depend on strain and how long the plant takes to flower to full maturity. just grab a magnifier and look every 3 days or so

I have seen trichs starting to develop on leaves during veg without any scope so if your 4 weeks into flower you will definately see them. I never bother to check my trich till at least week 7.

yea man true trichs can start showing in veg,, however this crop started showing them around the time i done the 12/12 switch

I've got a fem Nirvana's Raspberry Cough (sativa dom) that is less than a week old, and after her 2nd full day in the sun, I can see them in pictures taken with a macro lens. They are there to help protect the plant from UV rays, they become more numerous in flowering because they have to protect the developing seedlings.

just never looked or thought of it before and won't get to the shop till later today.

might post a pic back here because these are all supposed to be BigBud but almost looks like i have 3 different strains....

soil ones look to be maturing quicker than the hydro ones....

as for 3 strains i have bigbud, bangi haze, and blue mystic but only bigbud in flower for sure.
