When do tric really start showing?

Can anyone tell me when the Trichomes really start forming? im in week 5 of bud growth and have very large bud and tric seem to be starting but not alot? anybody?

no sweat man, They really start pilling on in the last few weeks before she is done so you have a ways to go.

What lights are you using? Certain lights can help trich production such as metal halides, lizard lights, or even high output fluoros. They do better than HPS for trich production but sodiums always win when it comes to buds density and weight.

i guess diff strains different times because i started getting trichs in week 1.

Depends on the strain.
I have strains that show trichs in the first week of flower and others that show trichs after 3 weeks of flower.

i'm using 400w HPS , this is my second indoor grow first was white rhino and it was good

You should have them early in flowering (a week to 10 days) although they may not be visible to the naked eye. But like always it depends mostly on strain and growing conditions.

Definetly strain dependent I have an afghoo and two erkels 3weeks in the afghoo is just starting and they erkels look like a coke head sneezed on em
