When do i start using flowering nutrients?

I taper the feed down during the last 3 weeks or so. Fed lightly to the last watering or two.

If fed properly no need to leach pots.

And I dont leave them in the dark. I do harvest at lights on or just before to preserve potency and terpenes.

Only reason i have read to leave them for extended dark period is ot can take 24 hrs for the carbs in the plant to settle back down into the roots. Which theoretically would give smoother smoke sooner.
i'll have to do more research on that whole dark cycle thing. but so far im trying to just weaken my nutrients over time. with my first grow i didn't use any nutrients because i couldn't since it was raining almost daily. plant grew nicely but i couldn't smoke it or anything to tell since we gave the buds away to my dads friend who was watching his male plants

I had a question about the stretch in flowering phase. when does it usually stop? past 2 days it stretched good 1.5" each day but today i check and i measured it is the same height. it looks like it grew but the height is still the same

So many variables contribute to this but i will say on average most indoor cultivars finish branching and set flowers between 2 and 3 weeks.

I grow many sativa leaning hybrids and like landrace plants some of them really never stop growing. You have to supercrop, tie down and bend branches almost all the way through.

thanks im worried because with my first grow it was exactly like this. maybe after 2-3 days it stopped stretching and started to just focus on buds. it slowly grew over like 2-3 weeks like you said but the main stretch just seemed to stop. it didn't hit 2x the size as what people claimed. with my indoor grow i expect it to grow more around the 2x this time. never really seen much info either about the stretch most things i read just claim they stretch 2x in flowering and thats it. they do look like they grew though in some way if anything fuck um just let em do their thing and hope for some big nice buds

2x is just an average. Every grow is different. If you want uniformity find the right plant for your room from your experience amd clone her. Then run the clones until it all fits what you want.

With seeds there are many genetic and environmental variables at work.

yea eventually i plan to start cloning but for now it's just something i want to get a general idea of im not really worried about it just one of those "fun facts" type of stuff i wanted to know. im more interested in growing from seeds then clones as well but i mean it will save me a ton of money in the end by cloning just i rather get different varieties under my belt before i settle for clones not enough space thats why. if the plant outside seeds then i will be experimenting with those it will be a Blue widow X Gorrila Glue #1 hybrid.

I just bend most plants in the first 2 weeks of 12/12. Then train and stake and tie to manage the branching.

i've never tried that i usually flower early so i got a lot of room to work with and just LST'd during veg. dont want to try that with this grow though i put them under a lot of stress over the grow. they are starting to get pistils though one of the plants is growing weird too. 2 of the stems have 3 leaves per node instead of the usual 2. not sure why but 1 of the stems just started growing 3 leaves per node where as the other was doing that long ago during veg.
