When Do I Start Flowering The Plant

If i was growing a plant how would i tell when the right time is to change the light from the 18 hours on 6 off to 12/12 ?

Typically anytime after you see the Preflowers you can flip to 12x12. I pretty much base it on size. I let my plants get about 1 foot shorter than I want them to be in flower - flip them - then they stretch that extra foot. So it all depends on how big you want them to get.

yea ... bigger plants = fatter buds ... top them and let them veg a few more weeks for an even better harvest : )

im so new what are the preflowers any pics you could show me as example ??? and thanks for the help

google it dude, if it is not at least 4 weeks you will probably see no pre-flowers

This statement's definitely right, but there's a "but" that goes with it.

Some strains stretch more than others, so don't expect every strain to stretch a foot. Some plants triple in height, for example.

the right time is when you decide............some veg for weeks and some go 12-12 from the start.......how big do you want to go?
